Italian Greyhound Puppies 

Italian Greyhounds are an ancient breed originating around Greece and Turkey 2,000 years ago. The breed become popular with the people of Italy, for which they are named, during the 1500's. This dog is a site hound or gazehound meaning they hunt by sight rather then sent.

The Italian Greyhound appears like a miniature Greyhound. This breed comes in coats of grey, slate, cream, fawn, red, or back that often include white markings. The coat is shot and glossy and is extremely sensitive to cold weather. These dogs will also require regular dental checkup and cleanings.

This breed is a gentle loving dog that is intelligent and playful that can be slightly ill-behaved. The dog is will become very attached to their family getting along with children and other pets. Italian Greyhounds can be kept in apartments but must be taken on daily walks.

This intelligent breed can be hard to house train but other was easily trained.
