English Setter Puppies
The English Setter's history can to tracked to the 1500's. The name "setter" comes from the fact the dog almost always sits when it finds it's pray.
This elegant breed has a long, flat, and to some extent wavy coat that is seen in white with tan, brown, white with black and tan speckles, or black with speckles. The coat will need regular brushing.
This dog makes an excellent guard dog and will bark at intruders. The English Setter is also a natural gun dog.
The breed does will with older children and enjoys an active lifestyle, preferring to live in homes with a fenced yard. If owners live in an apartment, this dog will need to be taken for plenty of walks.
The English Setter can be difficult to house train and will need a patient and persistent individual for obedience training.
