Collie Puppies 

The Collie's exact origins are unknown but the breed does have a long history in Scotland and Northern England as a sheep herding dog. There are two varieties of Collie's the smooth or "ban" Collie and the rough or "shepherd's" Collie.

The rough Collie has a long flowing double coat seen is sable and white, tricolor, blue merle or white. The outer coat is long while the undercoat is soft. Grooming to prevent mats and tangles is needed.

The smooth Collie has a short, dense coat that is flat with a rich undercoat in the same colors as the rough Collie.

The Collie is the perfect family dog who loves children. The breed also does will with other pets.

This breed has a natural instinct to protect and herd but do not make good guard dogs.

Training this dog easy as they enjoy mental and physical stimulation and proper training will keep the Collie from herding kids and pets inappropriately.

Daily exercise is needed.

When bringing a Collie into a new home the dog should be confined to allow them to adjust to the new surrounding of the breed may attempt to find its home.
