Clumber Spaniel Puppies
The Clumber Spaniel, originally a hunting dog, made it's first appearance in the show ring in England in 1859. The breed had been in the nation since the 1700's after the French Duc de Noailles gave the Duke of Newcastle several dogs as a gift.
This breed has a silky coat with short hair. The coat is seen in lemon and white or orange and white. Daily grooming is needed to keep the coat tangle free.
The Clumber is an adaptable dog who gets along with children and other animals. This dog enjoys spending time with its family. The breed also does well in apartments. They will need some exercise.
Clumber Spaniel will need obedience training early in life which will require an owner with a firm but patient hand but are easy to train. The breed also enjoys agility training.
