Border Terrier Puppies 

The Border Terrier was developed in the mid 1800's to help farmers in the Cheviot Hills to drive out foxes. Thus the breed is a hunter and watchdog. Today the Border Terrier makes an excellent pet.

This small, compact dog has a wiry coat that is seen in red, blue and tan, wheaten and grizzle and tan. The breeds coat should be brushed weekly.

The family-oriented Border Terrier will alert owners to approaching strangers. This breed can do well with children and other pets if raiser around them. This dog should still be watched around other family's children and pets and should not be trusted around small animals such as birds, hamsters, and rabbits.

Training the Border Terrier is easy and the breed enjoys pleasing it's master.

It is important to remember that this breed should not be left to roam freely as they will dig and can engage n destructive behavior.
