Bloodhound Puppies
The Bloodhound is an ancient breed that thrived in the Mediterranean region before the Crusades and later became popular in Europe in the 12th century. The breed has been used in English law enforcement since the 1800's due to it's remarkable sense of smell.
This dog has a short smooth coat that comes in red, black and tan, tawny, or liver. The dogs ears will need to be cleaned several times a week and baths once or twice a month.
This breed is headstrong but affectionate which makes then wonderful companions. Bloodhounds thrive with families but are not for everyone as they tend to snore, drool, and have a deep baying bark.
The Bloodhound can not be allowed to roam as they will follow scents anywhere, even into danger.
While this breed is quick to learn they can be stubborn and do not require any training to follow a scent.
