Bearded Collie Puppies
The Bearded Collie is a descendent of the Polish Sheepdog that was introduced into Scotland in the 1500's. In Scotland the breed was used to herd livestock and kept as a family companion.
This breed has a weather resistant coat that is dense with a natural part. The outer coat is long, shaggy, and lies flat while the under coat is soft. The coat comes in brown, black, blue, or fawn with or without white markings. Daily rooming to prevent mats and tangles is required.
The Bearded Collie is perfect for families with children as this dog is playful and active. This breed doesn't do well in apartment setting and prefer homes with a fenced year to play in.
This breed is trainable in obedience, tracking, and herding as they are eager to please. Training is agility can be difficult as the Collie can be stubborn and obedience training should being early in life.
