Silky Puppies 

The Silky terrier was developed in Australia in the 1800's and was known as the Sydney silky terrier until 1955. The breed found its way to the United States during World War II.

This breed comes with a long, silky, straight coat. Colors for the dog come in various shades of blue and tan. The long coat of the Silky breed will need daily brushings to avoid mats and tangles.

The Silky Terrier may look small but they are actually quite tough. This breed does will in homes with older children and other pets if raised with them. Silkies are energetic and can live in apartments as long as they can take daily walks.

This breed makes good watchdogs. The Silky may chase small animals. Overall the Silky terrier breed is able to be obedience trained but difficult to house train.
