Lowchen Puppies 

The Lowchen, also know as the little lion dog or Petit Chien Lion, is thought to have developed in France before the 15th century.

This dog has soft and silky hair that is long and wavy but is usually clipped to resemble a lion. The coat is seen in all colors and color combinations and will change color during the dog's life. Daily brushing will keep the coat tangle free. If the Lowchen is clipped the dog will easily sunburn so precautions need to be taken.

This breed is an excellent comapion and family dog. The Lowchen enjoys playing with children and gets along with other pets. This dog does will in any living situation. The breed enjoys taking long walks.

Training the Lowchen in agility and obedience is fairly easy as the breed enjoys pleasing its owner.
