French Brittany

This is a very enthusiastic and active breed. They love to hunt birds and get lots of exercise. If you are an outdoors person or a hunter, this is the perfect breed for you. This breed is not recommended for apartment life. It needs plenty of room to roam and does not mind the cold or damp.

This breed needs trained to see the human as above him in the pack order. They are similar to the American Brittany, but the French Brittany is a stronger hunter.

French Brittany’s are a low maintenance breed but it does lightly shed. Colors are usually white/orange, black/white, and liver/white.

It is especially important to find your French Brittany puppies through a reputable breeder. This breed is not known for any serious health conditions, although some have been found to have epilepsy and vision problems though rare.
