Bull Terrier Puppies
Bull terrier puppies are energetic and playful. These pups require lots of attention and make excellent family pets. Behavioral problems can develop if you do not pay enough attention to these dogs. As with many breeds, early obedience training and socialization is highly recommended for Bull Terrier puppies. While generally friendly towards strangers, always walk them on a leash to avoid confrontations with other dogs. If agitated, this breed may attack other dogs and can easily cause serious injuries or death.
Bull terriers have a very distinctive look with their egg shaped heads. Bull Terrier coats are coarse and short, with a slight luster. While usually solid white in color, this type of dog may be seen with brindle, red or fawn markings.
Grooming is simple, as Bull Terriers require only an occasional brushing to keep their coats in shape. This type of dog does, however, require a lot of daily playtime and exercise. Two to three long walks a day are highly recommended to burn off the Bull Terriers high energy and keep them calm.
Like many dogs, Bull Terriers were bred in 11th century England for dog fighting.
